MSSN THE POLYTECHNIC IRESI CHAPTER AWARDS THE INSTITUTION RECTOR

The Muslim Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN), the Polytechnic Iresi Chapter, today 4th December, 2021 held her Jihad Day to mark the end of 2019/20220 Academic Session.

The Institution Rector, Engr. Dr. Kadiri Kamoru Oluwatoyin FNSE, during the event was presented an honorary award of recognition for his meritorious service towards the MSSN and the institution at large.

In his opening speech of the Jihad programme, the Rector, Dr. Kadiri, who was ably represented by the Ag. Head of Public Relations and Protocols Unit, Mr. Salaudeen Abdullahi Ishola, urged the MSSN executives, members and all students to always seek God first in whatever they want to embark on in life. Furthermore, he impelled the students on the need for them to shun cultism and not involved in any kind of malpractice in their forthcoming examination.

In appreciation of the meritorious award presented to the Rector, he showered encomium on both excos and members of the MSSN. In his words, “I am really humbled for this recognition, and I am using this medium to pledge my full support towards the success of MSSN and the Polytechnic Iresi in entirety.”

In addition, Engr. Kadiri enjoined all the Muslim students to always imbibe the spirit of oneness and hospitality by showing love to one another.

THE POLYTECHNIC IRESI SETS TO PARTNER WITH APEX COLLEGE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

 Apex College of Technology is an approved innovation centre located in Fiwasaye area of Kolabalogun, Osogbo in Osun State.

A four-man team came to the Polytechnic Iresi with a proposal for partnership. They were able to explain the status of their institution, the financial strength and the contributions of major stakeholders.

The Rector welcomed the team, gave brief introduction of the principal officers and HOD's in attendance. He went further to express his confidence in the team. He informed the meeting that the team is made up of people with proven integrity.

The proposal was submitted and perused by the chairman, committee on investment and partnership, Deacon Adejumo John, who informed the group that the committee will look into the proposal and make final decision on the request.

It was then discussed that Iresi Polytechnic is noted for standard, thus, the team should make sure that they maintain standard if the proposal receives the favour of the Academic Board and the Governing Council.

The Apex College of Technology has been partnership with institution like Interlink Polytechnic, Ijebu-Ijesa.

The Rector informed the meeting that the Polytechnic Iresi will welcome any idea that will move the institution forward.

It was agreed that unscheduled visit be paid to the temporary site of the institution at Fiwasaye area of Kolabalogun Osogbo to access the facilities and human resources available at the Innovation centre.

The visitors then promised to abide by all conditions of the authority of the Polytechnic and promised not to let the Institution down.

The Rector assured the team that the management of the Polytechnic Iresi will get them informed as soon as the final decision is made.
